Lumix DMC-FZ1000 and the Lumix DMC-FZ300 in its ‘Lumix’ portfolio. The company has priced the devices at Rs. 45,990 and Rs. 58,990, respectively.

Both of the cameras offer an option to capture still pictures in 8-megapixel during 4K video recording. Apart from taking images during video shooting, the devices come with several other features like 4K Burst Shooting, 4K Burst S/S (Start/Stop) and 4K Pre-burst. The manufacturer has also provided onboard Wi-Fi sync facility that manages to connect with the smartphones or tablets to share the captured pictures.

The Pansonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 and the Lumix DMC-FZ300 models feature Panasonic’s wide-angle Leica lens system with Oled viewfinders. The term bridge camera is used to define a class of cameras that sit between SLRs and point-and-shoot, commonly referred to as prosumer or superzoom cameras.

The Lumix DMC-FZ1000 comes with 20.1-megapixel MOS sensor that supports up to 16x optical zoom. For image stabilisation, the company offers a 5-axis Hybrid Optical Image Stabiliser and a 5-step speed control system to the flagship model. In addition, the image capturing tool includes an aperture range of f/2.8-4.0, a selection of shooting modes, manual controls for shutter speed, ISO, and aperture and an Oled viewfinder with around 100-percent field of view.
