Mobile commerce platform Paytm will spend Rs 50 crore (Rs 500 million) around the Indian Premier League (IPL) to promote its brand. Paytm has announced the launch of its new brand campaign around the IPL. Through this brand film, Paytm aims to reinforce their position as the leader in the mobile commerce space. Paytm is an associate sponsor on Sony and the official partner of the Mumbai Indians. Overall, for the year, Paytm will spend Rs 500 crore (Rs 50 billion) on marketing.
