Seriously man why did they increase the price, why not absorb the price hike from the excise duty they have increased in the past yr multiple times? At that time they gave this as the excuse to increase the duty.

The economist only can answer that and by increasing diesel prices I'm sure all the commodities would shoot up as most of the heavy vehicles run on diesel only.

Diesel price hike is linked to inflation, if they reduce then we will go for deflation and it will not be good for economy.

Would that lead to increase in price of other commodities like logistics.
