HELP Philips 40PFL5507 - 3D LED TV - 40 inch

Hi Guys,
I am planning for a LED TV, as my LCD is more than 3 years old; and I have gone through this model":
"Philips 40PFL5507 - 3D LED TV - 40 inch" and would like to get the comments from the experts here.

This model is available in one of the showrooms here, and falls within my budget. The below is one of the link shows the details and specifications.

My privilages are 3D, Smart options (Wi-fi), compatible with Videos/formats. etc.

Comments from experts, detailing the draw-backs, and plus points of this model would be much helpful before i decide to go for it...

Good thing is Philips is well known from old brands and always fits into budget.

But one major cons it, they do not have extended warranty kind of thing and LED is such a bitch technology that you never know when the TV requires service center.

Other than that , I have experienced Philips TV and didn't find any much difference with other TVs. Also audio of Philips is somewhat inferior to Samsung and lg TVs .

This tv has been manufactired by Videocon as Philips no longer makes tv and hence entered into a manufacturing partenership with Videocon. Even I have a Philips led tv with ddb.

Yes, one of the plus point i found in this model is the price.
And many features, including sharing files from smart phones, wifi, compatible with video files incluing avi, mkv, etc....
Got to check further. Googled for its reviews, but couldnt find much...

Whenever I saw people looking for a 40" TV, most of them go for LG, Samsung and Sony. So, you will find it hard to get review of this TV .

Yes, this is for India only, so still Malaysian unit will be much better.

I have also sold my last Samsung 3D LED 40" ES6200 .

And now looking for another led.....

Please also suggest me one model.

I wonder why Sony LEDs are costlier then Samsung.

In 70 to 80k Samsungs 3d led available with all smartv feature but Sony 3d 40" led available over 1 lac.

Here is some more details and specifications of the subject model. Mazi, are you quoting INR or PKR? it would be hard to compare the price if so..
