Guys,
As promised, here comes the review of my recently bought TV.

Specifications:
Model: Philips 5507, 3D LED 40”
Made: Hungary
Motion rate: 400Hz
Internet Connectivity: Wifi & Ethernet port
3D Glasses X 2
4HDMI Inputs
2 USB Ports
SPDIF out

Some of the main features, which i liked:

• Share/Watch files on other devices on the same network. I can now watch/play all video/picture files from my tab and Laptop on the TV.
• Pair TV with your Tablet. Easily play youtube video, you selected in Android app by pressing a button.
• Control TV through the android App.
• SMART TV Options: Facebook, YouTube etc.
• Video Formats: AVI, MKV, Mpeg, mp4 etc...
• Pause/rewind live TV: Insert one USB and Ready for record.
• 2d to 3D conversion.

Snaps and Details:

Software Update: TV Software was upgraded upon net connectivity.

3HDMI Ports at the back side and 1 at side. 2 USB Ports, SPDIF Output, Ethernet input.

I guess smartv options are less and UI of software is not so attractive like other brands.

But as u have said that PQ is awesome and 400hz motion is quite good

Yes you are right; the Smart TV options or the Apps are less compare to others. Also, the UI is quite average.

Though i would say the options available on the price i paid for is quite OK. Plus i dont use much other features on TV, esp like using youtube, facebook is not that helpful or easy on TV, especially because i am using a 2Mbps net connection. Browsing the net on TV, or using facebook app. is a pain while we have other gadgets to use those.

The other available options including sharing files on Laptop, Playing youtube videos from my Tab, are the best features and i feel comfortable.

Yes, Airtel, FTA Stb and the HT system.

as expected.. between do you get Airtel DTH signal throughout the day? in Kuwait my cable operator would get it only half of the day..
