PointRed Telecom, a global 4G equipment developer and manufacturer, is planning to set up 4G equipment manufacturing facility in India in the next 12-18 months.
The company is planning to spin out Rs. 200 crore for R&D and manufacturing purpose. At present the company has two such facilities in Taiwan.
Balaji Kulothungan, CEO, PointRed Telecom, told Telecom Lead, "We are aiming at 15-20 percent market share in 4G space in India."
