One of the most popular shows of the ‘00s Khichdi is all set to be back with its newest season. Yes, you read that right!
After a hiatus of more than a decade, the comedy show is set for a comeback on the small screen. The show which is produced by Aatish Kapadia and Jamnadas Majhetia will have the original cast reprising their roles along with some new artistes. It will be great to see the original cast Anang Desai, Rajeev Mehta, Supriya Pathak and Vandana Pathak returning together on the small scree.
A source shared with a leading daily,“Shooting for the Star Plus show started on Friday at a suburban studio. Kapadia has been working on the script for a while and had shot for a pilot a few months ago”.
Khichdi is one of the earliest shows in the Indian television industry that had adopted the model of appearing in seasons.
