HELP Purchase help? Dish TV vs Videocon D2h

I use videocon d2h from last 4 years, i feel its being too costly for channels i need 435 for new south diamond+175 hd access+30 recording,total:640.. i see dish tv has plans some thing like base pack + full on hd/game on hd addons+free recording. With this i can choose as per my preference and budget. Any sugesstions on quality, service, setup box userablility, i mean the how good you feel when using dish tv STB, hardware difference.

First of all Dishtv set box is lot better than d2h.... and yes u can take any base pack with any hd pack.... this is the flexibility which Dishtv hav and yes i feel Dishtv pq is improoved a lot nowdays.....

I have also shifted from Videocon to Dishtv before 1 year.but after changing I feel really sorry because sound quality in Videocon is in Dolby but there is no Dolby sound in dish TV.secondly rf remote is not in Dishtv.UI is better in Videocon than dishtv.

Can i opt for 99pack+220 full on HD,and do i need to take a compulsory addon with 99 pack, as videocon do need 99+ addon say(telugu addon@61). Now i am on videocon pay 435 new south diamond+175 HD access+30 recoring..total:640.sad thing is i cant get hd channels unless base pack have them. My requirements are full telugu +hindi entertainment+sports+english movies in possible HD. How much it cost for all these in the best possible way.


My doubts are if i take base pack Family sports+220 full on HD..will i get starsport HD channels,English movies HD as these are not the part of base pack,but full on HD have them. Second are there any free regional addons like videocon gives.bcz base pack Family sports is not showing all telugu channels,regional addon show channels which are not in base pack.

Recording is free right.

I see dish has more flexibility than videocon d2h,.reply me plz

Yes. In 220 full on hd pack u will get all sports HD channels, english hd channels and english entertainment channels and yes recording is free....
