Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has cancelled his 15-km padyatra in Telangana and has decided to do the tour by car instead. This is due to massive crowds which turned out for his visit.
Rahul met the family of a farmer who committed suicide and gave a cheque of Rs 2 lakh on Friday morning in Nirmal. He will be meeting four more such families on Friday.
He arrived in Telangana on Thursday night to interact with farmers to highlight their issues.
