MUMBAI: It is for the second consecutive week that Life OK, Star India’s second Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC), has managed to be at No 3 in the Hindi GEC hierarchy.
In the week ended 7 June, which saw Star Plus, Zee TV and Sony Entertainment Television (SET) register losses in viewership, Life OK and Colors gained.
As per TAM data (sourced from subscribers) for the Hindi-speaking markets, the pecking order remained unchanged.
Here is how the Hindi GECs performed:
Star Plus remained on top with 647 million gross television viewership in millions (GVMs), down from 655 million in the trailing week.
Zee TV was No. 2 with 383 million, down from 400 million.
Life OK was at No. 3 with 371 million, up from 365 million.
Colors was at No. 4 with 350 million, up from 347 million.
SET was No. 5 with 313 million, down from 340 million.
SAB remained at the 6th spot with 261 million, up from 256 million.
Sahara One was at No. 7 with 21 million, down from 22 million in the trailing week.
