Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan has received a threat message on his email ID. According to Mumbai Police sources, the email was sent from a Gmail id.

RBI officials have alerted the office of the Joint Commissioner, Crime Branch. The Cyber Crime Investigation Cell has launched a probe into the matter.

As per sources, police have requested Google to provide more details regarding the email.
