I usually update after an update has passed in between. I don't want to use a totally fucked up phones. See what they are doing with Mi A1.

MI A1 is stock Android and it has nothing to do with MI and it's Google who is owning the updates

i updated the device, got couple of bloatware, mi drop and mi video. Then on right swipe, you get the mini notifications, notes, cricket scores update and calendar events
