Sony Entertainment Television (SET) has unveiled its singing reality show ‘Indian Idol Junior’ by kicking off the auditions in Kolkata. For the first time, the channel is taking the auditions on the digital platform through its Sony Liv website and application. The digital process of auditioning has been termed ‘Digital Ace’ and to participate through the platform, kids can upload their audio or video performances on the Sony Liv website or app. A digital jury will review all the performances, wherefrom they will select 12 participants for the jury round in Mumbai. Of these 12, the top four will get an opportunity to perform in front of the show’s judges.
