HELP Should I update my airtel HD+ set top box

first of all bro - please do not take tensions anymore.
ask the technician to fix all the issues and yes it is true that dolby sound have lesser volume than stereo sounds.
second thing bro - just check with ur box bro - has all the channels' pq good or not ? especially sd ones as i heard that in older box pq is extremely good.

btw which tv do u use and of which company ?

Thanks for the quick reply bro and clarifying my doubt.
I am using Samsung 40 inch full HD tv and the pq on HD channels is awesome and even sd channels pq is also very good , no issues with the picture quality and sound is also good with stereo setting.

Dolby sounds low on TV but not sure on HT. Try different sound settings like stimulated surrounding and see.

siva Do u mean u don't get Dolby experience? If so buy optical fiber cable Nd connect it to one end of home theater Nd other end to Ur STB. Now u can experience Dolby but only for selected channels u will get Dolby

U can't experience Dolby sound in TV. U will get low volume in TV. That is normal. Only if u connect home theater u can experience Dolby sound

Yes I have come to know that it is normal that we experience low sound when we set dolby digital audio setting for tv. Thank u for the suggestion technoglitch
