Simmtronics, an Indian tablet manufacturer, has launched a new 10.1 inch display based tablet for Rs 8,499, which happens to be the cheapest 10 inch tablet currently available in India from a known brand. Named Simmtronics XPad X1010, it is based on Android 4.0 ICS operating system.
It features a 10.1 inch display with 5 point touch and a healthy 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. For a smoother performance, the tablet has a 1.2 GHz Cortex-A8, dual core Mali 400 graphics processor and 1 GB RAM.
XPad X1010 has 8 GB of internal memory and supports up to 32 GB of expandable memory. The tablet also comes with a VGA camera in the front for video chat but doesn't have a rear camera.
