Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is bringing back its courtroom drama ‘Adaalat’ for a second season. Premiering on 4 June, the show will air on Saturday and Sunday in the 8 pm slot. Sony expects to build this slot ahead of the ‘Kapil Sharma Show’, which airs at 9 pm. The channel is airing repeats of ‘Mahabali Hanumaan’ on Saturday and ‘Suryaputra Karn’ on Sunday as the 8 pm slot is currently vacant. In Season 2, ‘Adaalat’ will revolve around the thought that ‘Raay rakhne ka adhikaar sabko hai, par nyaay karne ka sirf Adaalat ko’, which means while everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, only the judicial system has the right to pass a verdict and thereby deliver justice.
