Not sure how many viewers Sony Marathi got and now they need HD version of it as well. People of Maharashtra watch Zee and if Zee launches another Entertainment channel then also it will have more viewers then Sony.

Absolute ridiculous decision by Sony by shutting down the international level of Sports channel which is launched by Zee. They already has no air time for Tennis and now no Golf as well in TV.

Good decision, I was always jealous on Ten Golf. Because they shutted down Animax. Ten Golf had low trp than Animax, so it was unfair. Good decision.

Ten golf had a niche audience and did not think it had gross subscribers compared to other sports channels. So it is a wise decision to shut down the channel.

Don't worry Sony Ten Golf HD will be available exclusively vod on Sony LIV like Animax. That's why they added ten Golf on Sony LIV recently.

The Golf content will move to the company’s digital platform SonyLIV to cater to the niche audience. Sony had got Ten Golf as part of its acquisition of Ten Sports Network from ZEEL in August 2016.
