Virginia Lim has been promoted to senior vice president and head of content, production and marketing at Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks.
Based in Singapore, Lim (pictured) will oversee the entire network portfolio of Asian and English content channels, including general entertainment AXN and ONE, as well as Animax, Sony Channel and GEM. She will be responsible for the overall content management for the five channels, including programming, acquisitions and original productions; as well as brand marketing and on-air promotions.
Lim joined SPT Networks Asia in 2008 as director of programming for Animax and became vice president of Asian Content in 2012. In this capacity, Lim oversaw the programming, marketing and on air promotions for ONE, Animax and GEM.
