Underfire former BCCI president N Srinivasan, who controls 29% of the shares of India Cements Limited, the principal owners of Chennai Super Kings, has transferred his entire stake in the IPL franchise, to a trust -- India Cements Cricketers Trust -- which takes care of the interest of former cricketers employed with the company.
Srinivasan confirmed the development to TOI on Friday. "My background and history is of supporting cricket. India Cements has supported cricket for the last 40 years," Srinivasan said.
