After expansion of various regional market with sports channels like, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports 1 Telugu & Star Sports 1 Kannada, Star is ready to introduce 3 more regional sports channels very soon (expected before IPL, 2019), those are, Star Sports 1 Bangla (tentatively 21 Feb, 2019), Star Sports 1 Malayalam & Star Sports 1 Marathi.
But one more breaking news comes from Star India that not only those above mentioned channels, they are recently planning for one more regional sports channels too. This region is totally new for them. They are planning for Star Sports 1 Gujarati channel. Already they have registered it's logo & get permission also. So, expected channel will be on the floor very soon.
