It depends upon user to user. For me product quality and service is more important than channels. When I switched from d2h to Tata sky, initially I felt very bad about channel limitations.

But after discovering the product and services of Tata Sky, I soon forgot about few channels which were not available.

And after some days those channels got added on Tata Sky too. Hence we must not forget that channels is not the differentiating factor. It's product and services which matter.

Yes it depends upon Taste and Choice of user.Shifting from one dth to other dth/cableservices even I would prefer more advanced Product Quality being quality person never the less.And upgrade/shift to next generation product services as Permanent/Long term investment right from here. Off-course thoroughly analysis will be done prior.

Currently I'm only objecting 'Reverse Proportional rate' of "Channel Services density and Cost Factor".At the same time I will not compromise over Quality keeping as prioritized in this technological era.

To be summarize, In my view - "Channel Availability" is One type of "High Priority Service" that no one will deny at any cost.

At present scenario, i would suggest everyone to stay with theri existing operator. In next one year, al DTH and MSO will reach stability and it would be easy for us to decide which one we should opt.

Although 2nd point could be right to certain extent, considering 1st point it's just like indirectly supporting the side of all these 'Advantage takers-time consumers n open kind of blackmailers in current situations hopelessly.
It's nothing but putting all your weapons down in tricky-difficult situations which i hate.

main thing lack in cable industry is competition . only one cable provider in area is big hurdle to improve cable service . some cablewala act like king where some society don't give permission to install dish .
