Star India’s English general entertainment channels will present the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards on 21 September. This will recognise the best that US television has to offer. Touted as the Oscars of the small screen, this glamorous gala will be simulcast live on Star World, Star World HD, Star World Premiere HD and FX and the primetime telecast on Star World, Star World HD and FX. HBO leads with 126 nominations, beating its own record of 124 nominations in 2004. ‘Game of Thrones’ has 24 nominations. ABC is way back in second place with 42 Emmy nominations. CBS and NBC each got 40 nominations. FX received 38, three more than Fox. ABC and Fox were the only broadcast networks that had more nominations this year than last year.
