HELP Tata Sky+ HD: Manual Software Update Method Not Working

^^ I want to confirm that Tata Sky STB will automatically update its software. If manual method is not working while using 2 wires then what are the chances that automatic update will work? IMO automatic update will also use the same mechanism.
