Update The Kapil Sharma Show: Krushna Out, Sunil Grover In?

It seems all is not well with Krushna Abhishek aka Sapna in super-hit comedy show on Sony TV ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. While rumours are abuzz that host Kapil Sharma’s ex-colleague Sunil Grover is making a comeback in the show, last week’s shocking incident with Krushna seems to have de-cemented the latter’s place in TKSS to some extent. No matter what, the ball game has kept rolling either side.

On Sunday, Krushna did not share the stage with uncle Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja. Reason, the makers reportedly asked Krushna not to appear on-stage when the couple make their appearance on the show.

When Bombay Times asked Krushna about the incident, the comedian said, “I was told by the team that Sunita Aai didn’t want me to be a part of the segment featuring them. So, I appeared in a performance before their entry. It was sad and shocking, as my character (Sapna) is an integral part of the show.
The reason why the family members are at loggerheads is reportedly a tweet by Krushna’s wife Kashmera Shah last year about ‘people who dance for money’ when Govinda appeared on ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’. Sunita Ahuja felt the comment targeted Govinda, but Krushna, later, clarified that it was meant for his sister Arti Singh. However, the differences could not be resolved after that incident, sources said.

Amid such circumstances, the craze for Sunil Grover (who gained immense popularity with his characters like Dr Mashoor Gulati, Gutthi, etc) is reaching new heights with the fans eagerly waiting for his grand return to the Kapil Sharma Show. Because, for them there is still a glimmer of hope going by the fact that Sony TV most of the times is seen telecasting the previous edition of the show which featured both Sunil Grover and Navjot Singh Sidhu.
