- Toshiba Gulf has introduced the Canvio AeroMobile, an SSD-based storage device that uses wireless connectivity for the fast and convenient transfer of files. It creates its own wireless LAN network, allowing users to access their content even without an Internet connection.
- The Canvio AeroMobile is compatible with today’s leading platforms—Android, iOS, Windows and Mac and is already available in the Middle East. An innovative addition to the Toshiba Canvio storage range, the Canvio AeroMobile allows for the wireless sharing and backing up of multimedia files, not just between mobile devices but between Windows PCs and Mac well.
- It runs on USB 3.0 and supports operating systems such as Microsoft Window 8.1, Windows 8 and Windows 7, OS X 10.8 and 10.7, Android2.3 to 4.2 and iOS 5.1 to 7. This drive is formatted by NTFS for Windows.
- The Canvio AeroMobile features a built-in SD memory card slot for easy photo backup. It comes equipped with the Internet Pass-Thru Mode which allows users to browse the web while simultaneously accessing the storage device. It comes with an AC Adapter so users can recharge it anytime.
