The beta version of the app which is for now meant for laptops and desktops was launched on Monday and has so far 238 downloads. Ankit Srivastava, a Bengaluru-based web developer who assisted Dr Mishra says the app is not just meant for children but also for those in office spaces.

“The app, which has identified over 3,000 'objectionable' websites, can also enable blocking of social media sites such as Facebook and YouTube," said Srivastava.
