Actress Jannat Zubair Rahmani who played the role of Phulwa on the Colors show has now grown into a pretty teenager. She will be seen in a lead role on Colors’ new show Tu Aashiqui. The promo of the same was unveiled on Twitter by the channel.
The show is a teenage love story based on the film ‘Aashiqui’ and is in line with the legacy of Colors’ hit romance, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi. Jannat and Ritik play the teenage couple and the show is basically about the rise and fall of their relationship. Jannat plays a middle -class girl called Pankti Sharma in the show while Ritik plays a musician Ahaan Dhanrajgir. Ritik character is inspired from Aditya Roy Kapur’s in Aashiqui 2. Both of them have similar personalities.
