TV Today knocks on HC doors to rush MIB clearance for sale of Oye FM to Mirchi

Ahead of the Phase III auctions, TV Today Network (TVTN) is desperate to sell its loss-making FM radio business Oye FM to Radio Mirchi. The company, which is awaiting clearance from the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) for the sale, has filed an urgent writ petition in the Delhi High Court to expedite the matter. On 13 February this year, TVTN had entered into an agreement with Entertainment Network India Ltd (ENIL), the operator of the leading FM brand Radio Mirchi.
