TVS Motor February Sales Rise Over 7%

TVS Motor Company on Tuesday reported a 7.28 per cent increase in total sales at 2,19,467 units in February.

The Chennai-based company had sold 2,04,565 units in the corresponding period a year ago.

Total two-wheeler sales during the month grew 7.99 per cent to 2,11,148 units as against 1,95,509 in the year-ago period, TVS Motor Company said in a filing to the BSE.

Motorcycle sales rose 3.77 per cent to 77,093 units in February compared with 74,292 a year ago.

Scooter sales surged 18.21 per cent to 67,089 units as against 56,750 in the same period a year ago.

Three-wheeler sales stood at 8,319 units in February 2016, down 8.13 per cent compared with 9,056 in the year-ago period.

Trust i have brought a Jupiter ZX Blue after doing my research... I use the vehicle for commuting for utility & other general stuff. It is one of the best scooter in the segement. surpassing Activa ... Looks wise i have not seen a more beautifully crafted majestic then Jupiter... (vespa being exception but the price is 70K)

Trust if any one is planning to buy a scooter go for Jupiter in 100 CC segment

Normal Jupiter will cost you 55 k
