UID/Aadhaar -- Identity worth 50000 crores?

The UPA government has invested more than 50000 crores of tax payers money under the pretext of yet another scheme - AADHAAR - a scheme much hyped and rhetoric! But is the scheme really worth all that much. Is it really providing the unique identity to every Indian. Is it really the panacea as it has been advertised. Then what about the issues like privacy issues, internet issues, non-citizens getting it and so many others. And moreover, even after spending this much money, what is the penetration, what does the common people know about it, are they getting their Aadhaar card, are they getting the benefits. And when government is making Aadhaar card mandatory for everything like LPG subsidy, cash transfer, NSDC etc, where will those people go who do not have it yet. We tried to ask common people as well as experts about the Aadhaar claim and we would like to share what we got.

The above ras*** said one person would have been provided 1 aadhar card.But people have multiple card like voter id.That's why he joined congress after eating 50,00crore.

aadhar card is now not considered as a proof in most of the offices esp in passport office.

Bill for Aadhar card has not yet been passed in houses. So, in reality this card isn't even authentic. The main Moto behind this card is to understand socio-economic status of our country. All the data collated from Indians has been kept by some foreign agencies. So, all our financial, personal and biometric details are now wth America.

So, now American govt and corporates would be easily manipulating and analyzing our fate. Moreover this Nandan and govt made huge money with this stupid card and in future, expect a bigger scam.

This is true, it's one of the biggest unnoticed scams in our country and now UPA and Nandan are claiming it as the biggest success of UPA tenure.
