UIDAI launches 'Aadhaar Official Channel' on YouTube

Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) today launched the 'Aadhaar Official Channel' on YouTube as part of its efforts to inform and educate people about the features of the unique identity numbers issued.

"We have added yet another medium to our existing modes of communication with the residents. The Aadhaar Official Channel has very informative videos that educate residents of what the Aadhaar number is, how to get enrolled and benefits of getting an Aadhaar number," UIDAI Chairman Nandan Nilekani said in a statement.

i got my aadhar card bhai and it is in thick paper and not laminated ones like the companies give you or D.L

Yes, Its a normal but good quality of paper. I had done a color Xerox and kept original at safe place.

so whats the diff between aadhar and national ID card?

Aadhar will be the National ID only. I don't think any other National Card is on Govt thought process. they will be making Aadhar as National ID for our country.
