Starting mid-December, the Connaught Place in New Delhi will have a new youth destination. A MTV-themed café, ‘FLYP@MTV’, will allow the core target group of 18-30-year-olds to work, chill and play. ‘FLYP@MTV’ will be the first such MTV-branded café launch across the world. It will mark MTV’s foray into the fast-growing food and beverages category. ‘FLYP@MTV is an association between Viacom18 Consumer Products, the consumer products arm of Viacom18, and Funbars Hospitality. They plan to launch 10 cafés across metros and mini-metros in the next five years. After Delhi, ‘FLYP@MTV’ will launch in cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune.
