News Videocon launched its Windows powered TV

Videocon in collaboration with Microsoft today launched a Windows 10 powered TV in India. Comprising of 2 models in different screen sizes between 81cm and 98cm, Videocon Windows 10-powered TVs will be available across India by November. The Videocon Windows 10 LED TV will be available through Videocon dealers and at all leading outlets starting at Rs 39,990.

The new LED TV powered by Windows 10 will have both features of a TV as well as a PC. In terms of features, the TV enables you to create and edit documents or presentations with Microsoft Office. Equipped with Windows Store, the PC offers built-in apps to access apps, games, music, movies, etc. Screen Casting allows wireless transfer of photos, music and videos to the TV using the ‘All Cast’ app. The Windows 10 powered TV, provides access to social media tools like Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest as well

In addition, the TV comes with HDMI ports, 2GB DDR3 RAM and has 16 GB of internal storage which can be extended to 128 GB through the MicroSD slot.

When everyone is going for Android, Videocon dared to power it's LED TV with Windows 10.

That's interesting. I hope windows 10 users will be able to cast laptop content to these TV without any further investment
