"Expect the unexpected,” says Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, when he was asked what to expect from Vishwaroopam 2. “People think that Vishwaroopam 2, like Vadacurry, is just a compilation of the stock footage of its prequel. But that’s not what Vishwaroopam 2 is,” begins Kamal. “The amount of effort put in this film is far more than what we did for Vishwaroopam. Watch it... Only then you’ll know,” he said, with a smile of accomplishment.

When Vishwaroopam hit the screens early this year, only the Tamil version was released in Auro 3D whereas the Telugu and Hindi versions were released on DTS format. At that time, the filmmakers did not have the time to make the necessary changes but now Kamal Haasan is set on releasing the film in Auro 3D format in all the versions.
The work in this regard is progressing at a breakneck speed in Hollywood, say sources close to the film unit and hence the delay in its release. Though there is no set date on its release, we anticipate Vishwaroopam 2 to hit the screens during the fag end of January.

Vishwaroopam2 to will be released in the month of February (likely for Feb14)-Kerala distribution rights sold to Sree Kaleeswari picture for a whooping amount and Karnataka to Ganesha pictures. In Tamil Nadu the film will be released by Aascar Films Ravichandran
