Watermark & Finger Printing in hathway digital cable TV

Hi Guys,

Well I wanted to know whether hathway has watermarks and fingerprinting on all of its channels.
In all hathway places like Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata. and other places.

Yes. Hathway does watermark all its channels.

Good thing is that it does it on the bottom right of the screen and has a high transparency.

Every MSO has to compulsorily finger print . Infact fingerprinting is done from broadcaster end only. Unless it's fingerprinted, piracy can't be controlled.

IM Bhai, I understood the Broadcaster fingerprinting, but in DTH it is there, one from the broadcaster and one from the DHT operator. But in Digital cable like Hathway do they also have it ???

Yes bro. Fingerprinting is directly related to digital transmission. So, whether it's DTH or MSO, anyone transmitting digital signals will have fingerprinting on channels to tackle piracy.
