A woman was stoned to death in south-east Yemen after she was found guilty of indulging into adultery and prostitution by an Al-Qaeda Sharia court.
According to a report, the woman was killed in a public execution in the city of Al Mukalla, which has been under the control of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula since April last year.
The woman was placed in hole at the centre of a courtyard of a military building and stoned to death.
The woman has confessed in front of the judges to committing adultery. During the trial, the woman also admitted that she practiced prostitution, as a pimp and she worked with a group of women in brothels.
