Breaking News WWE SmackDown Moving Back to Thursdays Starting January 15, 2015

WWE officially announced that SmackDown would be switching nights, making the transition from its current time slot on Fridays to its new time of Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on SyFybeginning January 15, 2015, according to the company’s website.

WWE Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer Michelle Wilson toldWWE.com about the success of SmackDown on SyFy, saying, "WWE’s sizable and passionate fan base make SmackDown the No. 1 entertainment show on Syfy and the most-watched, regularly scheduled program among key demographics on the network. We look forward to bringing the WWE audience to Thursday nights on Syfy."

The move was originally reported in August when a photograph was revealed of a SmackDown trailer with “Thursdays 8/7c” on the side, but it was not confirmed by WWE until Thursday morning.

Don't know but they must have thought something in mind to move this show from his origianl slot to some other slot or may be we will get to see a new show on Friday

Nothing to do with us its upto the scheduling of SyFy we will get it normally at Friday only.

I think its unconfirmed because from January we start getting RAW LIVE then Main Event LIVE and its taping would be schedule at Evening so its not confirmed for us.
