Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is mulling over foraying into the laptop PC market, says a Bloomberg report, which further claims that the half-a-decade old company may launch its first laptop early next year.
Citing people with information about the company's future plans, the report claims that Xiaomi's first-ever laptop could go on sale in the first quarter of 2016.
If the report is to be believed, Xiaomi is in discussions with Samsung Electronics for memory chips to be used in the devices. Also, the initial agreement between the two companies may extend to supply displays.
Both companies, however, declined to comment about the same in separate e-mails, says Bloomberg.
