I will narrate the whole story.
Bought the item with DHL shipping. Paying $98 for shipping only.
Seller enters the tracking id of china post. A message from my side to seller asking to cancel the order since he is deviating from the terms of shipment got me a reply that he will refund the shipping cost. Then after couple of days he provides new tracking id from Hong Kong post. This id showed that the item is booked under registered category which means the weight is less than 2kg.
On confirming details from Hong Kong, I opened a dispute in aliexpress against the seller for refund and guess what the seller accepted it pretty quickly. Maybe he didn't want the escalation of the dispute because on escalation there is a human who takes the decision. And also maybe he provided fake china post tracking id to show the item shipped in 4 days as required otherwise order would have been refunded then only.
