News ZEE Telugu launches on DISH in US

Zee TV has announced the debut of Zee Telugu on the Dish platform for pay-TV viewers in the US. Zee Telugu will be available on channel 592 in Dish’s Telugu pack for $34.99 per month.
“We are pleased to add a premiere South Asian channel like Zee Telugu for our customers interested in Telugu-language programming,” said Chris Kuelling, Dish’s VP of International Programming. “Dish is a leader in delivering TV channels from across India to those in the US seeking news, sports and entertainment from their home country. The addition of these channels shows our continued commitment to serve the South Asian community.”
“There are more than 15 million patrons to Zee Telugu across the globe,” said Suresh Bala, CEO of Asia TV USA Ltd. “Dish dominates the South Asian market in the US, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring Telugu content to an even wider audience.”
