yeah i read it in an article and some where i also read that tata sky is the largest HD DTH Service of India

TataSky CCO Vikrem Mehra reminded guests that the broadcaster has a large order with set-top supplier Technicolor to supply receivers for 4K. “When we launched HD in 2010, people doubted us saying it won’t work. As you keep enhancing TV experience, the viewer will appreciate it. So, Ultra-HD is our endeavour in that area. A technology becomes popular when mainline pay-TV adopts it.” Those boxes will start appearing early in 2015.

TataSky has some 2.9 million subscribers to its premium HD service out of a total subs base of a claimed 13.5 million.

Are they counting HD Access Fee as subscription or HD box as subscriber for HD connection ? Any Idea or clarity on this part.

I don't think they will continue HD Access Fee in Future as they will get more loss in HD Access Due to in Future We may have many HD channels at at that time its too difficult to tata sky to make profit form rs125 or rs 150

I'm Wondering UHD Planned By Tata First But D2h Chased It.

Will This Happen With Pix HD Too?
No Vadirocks & Deepu Bro, The FACT is, D2h had announced Production Completion of M-Star-D2h 4K UHD boxes much before TS who done 4K tie up announcement with Technicolor(which will come in 2015) about 2 months after d2h completion announcemnt.
with d2h-MStar deal DIV-X HEVC 4K licenec also had been come under d2h kitty automatically....

So it's Not chase by d2h, infact TS chased d2h and tried to take advantage by planning-showing LIVE FIFA in 4k which has been handily nullified by d2h while becoming 1st 4K UHD DTH service in India officially.

I don't think so. They will keep crying for space issue and won;t add existing HD channels. Unfortunately PIX is very popular and they can't avoid this other wise they have already ignored lots of existing HD channels.
