Internet and TV equipment maker Technicolor has announced two landmarks in its cooperation with Indian DTH service provider Tata Sky. The two partners have celebrated the 10 year anniversary of their partnership and the delivery of the 11 millionth Technicolor set-top box. 13.5 million as per recent statement from Tata Sky officials.

So, is Tata Sky hoping to convert all its existing boxes to 4K Set Top boxes
Wow! But is it really possible? 4K STBs must be expensive, and I guess only a handful of people would have a 4K TV. :)

Now ts is focusing on hd very aggressively, calling to customer and giving hd stb only for 500 on replacing existing stb but not adding new hd channels

TS has done a lot in the past and added many HD channels .. But still they should add the remaining ones like Travel XP , History , PIX etc ....
