With the foreign investment, companies will get boost and money to perform better. Their financial status will improve and more innovation will add to it.

And finally the thing is happening which was illegal since such a long time.

Dish and Sun have to close or sell either of their business of DTH or MSO as having both licenses is not allowed.

What wrong did you find here bro?
Now according to TRAI's latest implementation Broadcasters can own either DTH or MSOs in this case either ESSEL Group needs to sell dishtv or Siti Cable :nailbiting:
Same implementation with SUN but no problem with STAR because of FDI ruling :beat2:

So, what's bad in that. That's infact a valid decision by TRAI after 10 years. The Day DTH licence were issued it was regulated and stated that no dth operator to hold MSO license, still Dish TV was enjoying and earning.

Now everyone will be on same boat.

So a Indian can't do business in India and we allows Foreign Based Network to do anything, STAR can own TATA(SKY can own DEN Network but Indian company has to work on such restriction.

I knows that but why restriction only for Indian company if there is such ruling then STAR / FIC having percentage in not only TATA(SKY, DEN NETWORK and indirectly on ASIANET Digital too.

I think its good decision as zee and sun create monopoly in industry, star was to suppose but due to foreign company they cant. Now other dth or mso will be happy.
