EntMnt Xclusive Tata Sky will get new satellite capacity by december

Isro will manage extra satellite capacity for tata sky till december. Currently cant provide detail of that satellite because no technical details are out, but it will be new satellite or existing gsat 10 [chances is high of gsat 10]. Also "currently 60% migration of MPEG4 is completed and schedule to 30 hd channels count by then end of year, as market flooding with many new hd channels"

i don't believe in this news first they told that they will use new satellite by august then by september and now its been told by december, tata sky only fooling people just by give assurances they are hurting the sentiments of people

Since SUNIEL bro earlier info regarding Tata Sky and GSAT 10 were true, so I am expecting this also to become true. December is not so distant and we can wait.

Anyways I don't have option to switch dth at present, so they add or not add I will stick with Tata Sky for one more year.

This is not official statement, its from ts office. No dth share their infrastructre information with customer on ground level. We cant predict future, only can made possibilities. Ts not share this news with user, this is their internal matter which came to our line light deu to our effort..

End of the year is not far and if their HD count goes to 30 then really great .. Ill repeat again I have bashed TS a lot over the years but they have still managed to add all the sports HD channels , All the Movie HD channels ( except PIX as of now ) .. So lets be somewhat fair to them .. TS also knows that if they dont add new channels people will go elsewhere .. I feel during Diwali only they will try to add few channels else lets wait December isent far ..

The problem with TS is, if the HD channel count goes to 30, then I am sure that HD Access Fee will be increased to 150 Rs.

I really dont want another increase in HD Access Fee. Rather TS should scrap this HD Access shit and create separate HD packs
