No bro. It's something else. In fact Color was the first channel, in which they have enabled 5.1. But later removed it.

Dish TV is allowing Dolby sound via HDMI.Virtual sound use is not much exactly.Actually Home theatre having technologies Dolby pro logic and Neo 6 kind.So Normal channels also automatic covert into 5.1 sound.So no need Virtual sound option.

HT displays DD prologic as it mixes stereo to surround.
if DD is present then Dolby digital is displayed.
if DD is present then Dolby digital is displayed.

There is nothing to do with sound and package Anirudha bro.it is DTH wish whether they have to add Dolby sound or not.

AQ is not a issue in dishtv. They only don't have Dolby license otherwise AQ is superb in 80% channels rest 3rd class and DD channels spoiling.

Yes I'm using optical not HDMI for 5.1 .. im getting PCM 5.1 for most of channel except Zee Studio and Ten HD
Zee TV .. Zee cinema and zee studio sound are worst in comparison to dish sound.. They are not even a perfect stereo
