But how many channels they add before MPEG 4 and after MPEG 4 ?
They moved to MPEG 4 just because of this issue otherwise they can compress on MPEG 2 also.

Because now India TV uses MPEG 4 technology and supplies MPEG 4 decoder to their clients.
I'm talking about quality not talking about space issue.

Already enough discussion was happened about MPEG2 and 4 in forums.All are agree that both will use for compression.But actually there is nothing to do with PQ and Compression.You can find pixallation in Picture in MPEG 4 also.Yes,agree that MPEG 4 technology is advance and will get more space but beyond the limit also DTHs compressing channels so Pixallation is coming in these technology too.
But what I want to say is..in MPEG 2 or MPEG 4 the channel will have same PQ if the compression is in appropriate levels.

Same thing I am talking about for ex. if TATA(SKY can add 20 channels with MPEG 2 compression they will achieve good PQ same they're doing with MPEG 4 also they're adding channels according to PQ not compressing enough.
One more sir...Dish TV has very pathetic GUI...which makes it very difficult to organize recorded files...and many more issues with the interface.Even Anirudha got same info from a different dealer.
So, the only stigma on Dish TV not having a DVR will be abolished soon.
