Upscaled HD is not for Indian Viewers for sure and also quality is awesome for these channels compare to SD so nothing to hate.

No, you won't. A-la-carte doesn't has any policy in effect as of now on Videocon d2h.
If you want to get both SD and HD, you will have to pay for the both.

Hence proved TS & d2h HDAF policy is not same..
