Update Software update for Satellite Box 1011 is full of flaws.

The box restarts automatically each time I turn it on after 1.5 days of software update. The box didn't had any problem in last 3 years but now this major issue. Is it a cheap tactic of Videocon d2h to earn extra money ?

Oh No. So this update screwed 1011 boxes too like 2011 are screwed with such update.

try power recycle, that is switch off it in the night.

It keeps getting restarted untill I turn it off.

I think D2H need to recruit good IT people.All other DTHs are successfully giving new software updates and D2H is still suffering with age old problems.

I should have escaped this software update is what i think now.
It's really strange.
Now i will have to shed out extra 150 for their so called dumb engineers to visit.

i think the stb is screwed up, did you raise the complaint?
because once my rdtv was kept on restarting and technician informed me that it needs to be replaced.

I think you need to call to D2H cc and they will replace your STB. same problem with new software update also.

It's out of warranty.
I don't think they will replace it for free.
