Update LCN of all HD Channels Changed

wrost move ... I only watch HD channels ... Then I wud need many more time in suffeling channels ..... Wrost move :hammer:

I too watch only HD channels. I just now tried to add all HD channels into favorite but came around another challenge. We can add only 20 channels in favorite and they have 22 HD channels.

They have done a Big crap change which has no solution

Well i think there might not many precentage of HD users without HD subscriptions. they has to suffer in other DTH too as DTH oops r aligning channels for HD users in their HD SW. We in Tatasky from the 1st itself HD Channels r right next LCN of Same SD. Dont know bfore i buy TS HD. the Universal solution will be desabling HD TP if its separate for SD Users ie: in SD STB Or dedicating TP for HD only if SD channels r in the HD TP now.

Every DTH should provide atleast 30 Favourite chanel option.

Yes, there won't be much but i have got one. There is LED TV at my home so, i have d2h HD STB but my family members are not interested in HD channel, so they have subscribed to SD packages.

Reason behind placing HD LCN next to SD LCN can only be their HD channel promotion. They want to realize all SD users that HD feed of their SD channel also exist . This will surely lure some SD users to upgrade for HD Packages.

Yes, I think u had already a HD STB so didnt opt for HD as Family didnt want them .Also there is a advantage in HD STB as the PQ ,AQ is better than SD STB. I think the reason is HD STB is upscaling the PQ .
If any one buy HD STB if he wants HD Channels only. may be 1 or 2 rare cases of buying for better PQ.

Yes Sir, I upgraded my Family SD box to HD last Diwali when we bought LED TV . d2h was running nice offer of 45 days of HD Globe addon free viewing.

But later my Dad asked me to deactivate the HD package as they have less viewing of present HD channels. If d2h restricted users to use HD Box from subscribing SD packages only, it would be another worst move and will heavily tarnish their Brand Value.

These were some good features available only in videocon but now they are blindly copying other operator practices without caring about customers ease.

Well i think Dish TV is the only DTH to Subscribe HD in HD STB. others r not making mandatory as i know.
i think Its time to impliment the HD Access fee in all DTH as many HD Channels r on the way to DTH. They has to give HD Channels @nominal price. so its the only way to balance things. else DTH ops will loose more money in adding HD Channels.

Tata Sky has always been Pioneer is introducing Good Packaging Technique . Recent HD Access fee is again a good initiative by them but it still some transparency is required that how TEN HD kind of channel would be compensated.

Do we require to subscribe only Ten Sports or all Ten channels for accessing TEN HD.

I think they will make it 3 in 1 or Premier channel Ten Sports to be subscribed to get access of TEN HD.
Others will follow soon as now d2h also aligned HD Channels like Tatasky..
