HELP Planning to move from Videocon D2H - help me stay

I have been a Videocon D2H subscriber from quite some time and I plan to move due to a few reasons. Please advice me.

The key reasons:
1) Remote: RF remote is bad, often skips channel and worst of all, I can't use any of my existing universal remotes with it. I didn't realized it earlier when ordering but it now pains where it shouldn't

2) Favorites: Favorites are worst. Earlier I used to have Tata (SD) and as far I remember favorites feature was much better. In videocon, I can configure only 20 per user and also not all 20 available. My user 1 starts from 5, missing 16, and upto 20. In every set of favorites (user1-4), a few intermediate number missing.

3) Packages: If you like to watch english channels, the sensible package begins with South Platinum HD which starts wilh 550 plus taxes. How are the charges with other providers if you are primarily hindi/english viewer.

Thank you all. A few questions, will appreciate some clarity

1) How is HD quality compared to D2H
2) Does it have all the HD channels? Which pack do you suggest, I currently have D2H south platinum HD pack.
3) Does changing channel more responsive compared to D2H. As you might be aware that D2H channel switching is slower than Tata.
4) Any other suggestions.

First of all calculate the investment which you are going to make just for few small reasons.

You may demand correct remote from them unless you git satisfied.

I think Dish TV is having even bad favorite selection option.

Still d2h packages is best among every DTH. YOu may opt New Diamond Pack for most of the english channel. MOvie NOw added today only in this package.
